New Yorkers are getting a chance to choose their new “I Voted” sticker in an online vote that runs through next week. DNAInfo has more:

It’s time to cast a ballot for something really important: New York’s next “I Voted” sticker.

The public has the opportunity to head to the (online) polls to vote for one of 10 designs chosen out of more than 700 submitted to the NYC Campaign Finance Board. The winner will be distributed in sticker form at polls this fall in partnership with the NYC Board of Elections, the group said.

The finalists — which include images of the subway map, skyline and several portrayals of the Statue of Liberty — were chosen based on their “overall aesthetic quality, the strength and effectiveness of the design’s pro-voting message” and “how well the design reflects New York City,” the CFB said in a statement.

Voting began Friday and will continue until May 9 at 9 p.m. Voters can submit their three favorites, in order, allowing the winner to be decided through an automatic instant runoff voting program, which basically goes to the voter’s second-choice pick if their first choice was eliminated due to too few votes.

The winning sticker will first be used in New York’s primary election on September 12.

This is the second “I Voted” sticker design contest held by the CFB. In 2013, then-10-year-old Zoe Markman won for her red, white and blue Lady Liberty design seen at polls and in countless voter selfies.

The online ballot is here.

This obviously isn’t the most important decision to be made in the elections field, but it is worth some thought given how much voters love their “I Voted” stickers. I can’t wait to see the results – and I look forward to seeing the winning design all over social media starting this fall. Stay tuned!
